I scored some AA1680 at a local gun show and thought it might work well in my 357 Max. Thought I would tap into the brain trust here and see if ya'll have any recipes for it, or for other cartridges. Thanks in advance.

I use 1680 exclusively in my .500 Maximum.

I use AA1680 in the 357 max. with the 200 gr. cast bullet from a lee mold. It shoots great from my 10" contender and my H&R handi-rifle. Shot two doe this year with the contender. Don't remember the recipe off hand, but it wasn't a max. load. If i remember correctly i was getting 1850 f.p.s. out of the rifle and 1600 from the contender. Enough to get the job done.

38 grains under a 525. It's hell on bovines!

AA1680 is my "go to" powder in several cartridges, the 357 Max included. I'm pushing a 180 grain Remington JHP at 1960 fps. out of a 10" Contender barrel using AA1680.
