Decided to take the plunge and just ordered it from Davidson's today. Its a .44 mag. I already reload for the .44 mag so I will find a load she likes and be ready for next season. I am 50 but feel like a 5 year old on Christmas Eve!

Excellent choice! One of my favorite hunting handguns.

I own a bisley but honestly I wished Id gotten the plain model.
No grip options for the Bisley and I get "knuckle rap"
Still a great gun.
Just wish there were more grip companies making grips for it.
The 44 is a nice round.

Had a chance to shoot it. I had some 250 grain Keith style swc loaded over 9.3 grains of Unique. All I can say is what a pleasure it was to shoot. Very accurate too. I shot it with iron sights and even with my tired eyes it did well.

I've been using 250gr BTB's over 12grs of Unique in my 44 Hunter Bisely for several years now. Its good load & very accurate and the a fine hunting gun
