When I first started handgun hunting, I had the Elite 3200 2-6 on my SBHH. I didn't like the feel of it on a revolver, so I sold the scope and went with a Fastfire 3. Fast forward several years, and I now have added a CVA Scout 2 pistol, in 300blk. It wears the newer Elite 3500 2-6. If memory serves me correctly, the 3200 crosshairs were a tiny bit thicker than the 3500 is now. The 3500 on my 300blk is crystal clear from edge to edge, and is (in my opinion) a very good value. I wanted the Leupold, but dont regret going with the less expensive Bushnell Elite at all. I really like the constant eye relief, and the day I was testing out the scope/gun combo, 3 different guys shot it and we all commented on how clear and crisp the scope was at 100yd. The fit/finish of the Elite 3500 is excellent, and looks like a product that should be priced well above its selling point. The click adjustments are very nice, not too hard, not mushy feeling at all, and have a positive, easy to feel click. I didn't do a box test, but the scope zeroing that day, was easily accomplished by counting the appropriate number of clicks, against space needed to move at 100yd. Yall keep in mind, I'm no gun/scope/handgun hunting expert, just a regular guy, so your mileage may vary. I finally got my 300blk handloads together, and in the next couple of weeks, plan on doing a review of the CVA Scout 2, and will include the scope in the review. Hopefully it will help someone considering either one.
