Hey Guys,

I have been corresponding with Underwood Ammo for awhile now about producing 480 Ruger ammunition, especially with a 420gr hard cast bullet.

I have shared with them the consumer interest for quality 480 Ruger ammunition and at a good price. They are at the point now, where all they need to see is the interest from others.

I am asking for your help.

By simply emailing the link provided below, and copy and paste the request listed below, we can show them that the consumer market is there.

Even if you hand load or never intend on owning a 480 Ruger, your help can assist those of us that don't hand load, and ensure that the 480 Ruger round doesn't go out of production again.

For any of those that may have sent the email, we have confirmation.

Underwood will be producing 480 Ruger with availability this summer.

Here is the email I received from them;

"... I have no time frame other than Summer right now either, so we'll have to be patient. There are many cartridges in queue right now for us to develop and load, but the good news is that I have a brass supplier tracked down and a hard cast will be an easy first loading, as far as securing projectiles goes.

Summer is looking good for the .480 right now, and I will do my best to keep you informed! "

I requested a pre-order, but they weren't able to do that, so I've been put on a notification list. As soon as they have it, I should be notified, and I'll let everyone here know as well.

grass roots work right there. Very nice. I don't have a 480, and I reload, but this is still good news to me. Never know what the future holds.

Hey guys, I just wanted to give you an update on Underwoods progress with their new 480 Ruger load.

I sent an email the other day and here is the response;

"Nothing as of yet, we are incredibly busy this time of year and haven't had much time to put into new loadings. It's on the list that we are slowly chipping away at though!"

I will be happy to let everyone know with any good news and when it becomes available.

Ya almost think I have stock in this or something. :-)
