I was lucky this year, not only got a nice Antelope Buck but also a decent Mule Deer Buck for a change.

Antelope was shot at 231 yds and the Mule Deer at just over 300 yds. Both shot with a 165 gr Swift Scirocco with my "Super Striker" in 300 WSM. Super because I threw away the stock barrel and had the action blue printed and installed a 15 1/2" Shilen Match Grade barrel with a target crown. This bullet/gun combo shoots five shot groups of an average of .576 at 100 yds. Average velocity of 2930 fps. Did not recover the bullet from the Antelope, but did recover the bullet from the Mule Deer and it weighed 160.9 grs.

Way to go Randy! Good looking combo and especially with a handgun. What was the measurment on the Goat? I just returned from Saratoga this last weekend. I took a 13.5" goat with my XP100R in 260 Rem at 225yds around Encampment on Cow Creek Road.
I really like that country. I'm putting in for goat and maybe Elk or Mulie if I can swing it next year. My buddy, Grant Goodno is hunting Elk south of Encampment right now. He lives in Cheyenne.
Congratulations again. Very nice Mulie.

fantastic hunts, way to go Randy. Sounds like you have the 300 WSM shooting pretty good. We need to talk. I will have my 300 WSM in three weeks when I go back to KY for deer season. I have load data from HS using the 180 gr BT but would like to use a 165 for deer sized game later on.
I will send you a PM and talk about it.

Left side was 15 3/4", right was 15 1/2". I didn't get a chance to measure the bases.
