Since Nosler doesn't make the Partition handgun bullet for the 454 anymore, how about some input on the Swift A Frame.

Great bullet but was tough to find a while back. I went ahead and stocked up when I did find them. This is one of Docs favorite bullets in the 454

Bigger ain't always better....according to who???

I've used the 300 grain Swift A-frames on deer and they work well.

I feel the swift a-frame is the best bonded jhp partition hunting handgun bullet on the market. You get what you pay for. The partition cost less but the Swift gave more consistent weight retention and expansion. Every recovered bullet looks almost exactly the same. You can refer to a short comparison I wrote up in "member articles" where I compare recovered 210 grain A-frames and XTP`s...
PS -trademark used a 325gr Swift for his first shot on a Cape buff
and got complete penatration from his 454.....

I have nothing but praise for Swift A-Frames. I've used the 325 grain version in the 454 Casull and the 240 grain and 280 grain bullets in the .44 Mag. I have taken a number of animals with them ranging from hogs up to the size of kudu. Great bullets!
