My 2nd son, Jesse, who is also a VPSO here in Alaska in a village down river from mine, just finished the academy a few weeks ago. I taught him to shoot growing up, and he finished the academy as the top shot in his class. The other day, a friend threw a small chunk of wood in the air and Jesse shot it with a 4" Kimber. I just got a post on Facebook, he was out on the river and shot a muskrat with his 4 1/2" SBH .44mag. Blew the heart out. All my raisings weren't wasted, he promptly built a fire, cleaned the critter, cooked it and ate it. Said it kind of tasted like beaver. Looks like we got another one!

If it were supposed to be easy, they'd have sent my little sister to do it.

Rod, too.

Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.
