and low and behold?..

These have to be 10+ years old. I guess I was ageing them like fine wine.
They still work, was at the range yesterday, here is the 100 yard 3 shot group form my SRH .454. My 629 preformed just a well pushing 240gr a-frames, now I need to contemplate which one to use come deer season this fall.
There was no price tag on them, I bet they were under $20 a box back then.

Nice surprise! I still have a box and a half of those and a box and a half of the 300 gr .458 (45-70) Partitions. I put them up there with silver and gold! I also ration my 7mm and .308 old style Ballistic Tips that expand down to 1600fps.

The price tag on my last two boxes is $33.95. I bought them around 2007. That's a 40% increase on my investment in one year! So at 40% compound interest over the 9 years since I bought them a box should be worth $701 today. Buy my full box and I'll throw in the half full box for free. What a deal!

Its always a nice surprise! The other night I found a box of new 45-70 Starline brass I don't even remember ordering. The funny thing is earlier that same day I was thinking I should order some .45-70 Starline brass. I was almost in disbelief when I was looking at the box. I must be getting old!

Nice find. We just moved and I broke out the reloading gear to load for my 44magnum and lost all but 50 pieces of brass.
