I tested the 300gr Sierra JSP all the way to 1600fps and never got it to expand. I am sure it would punch through hog armor.

Ny thoughts originally when I was young was to use replenishable bullets(that our government couldn't restrict) so I started casting my own. Now, I prefer flat nosed heavy cast slugs in all my handgun loads. I carried 310 gr. Lee RFs in my Mountain Gun when hunting Russian Boar in New Hampshire.
