Killed with his 10mm and double tap ammo. Stopped under offside skin.

How in the world did he get a semi auto into Africa??? Last time I hunted there, they were strictly forbidden.

There was some mention of a special permit. If you have the grease for the wheel sometimes the impossible becomes possible. I've known several folks who have done similar things that were negotiated with the government with a positive outcome. Sometimes all you have to do is ask!

A 10mm for Buffalo. Yikes!!! Congratulations Razor. What a great Trophy.
If I were planning to hunt dangerous game with a 10mm I would want a PH beside me with a big rifle that was slower on foot than I am. LOL!

I replied to Razor rather quickly and forgot to add Gary and the other members who have also taken Cape buff with their handguns. My apologies...

Very nice buffalo & I too am amazed anyone could get a semi-auto into Africa. Tell us more about the load, bullet weight, how far, how many shots. Great job that's for sure.

NO, you have to have at least a 470 Nitro Express to kill a Buff!
