Alright, Gents
I got the scope mount in and mounted the scope. It has been some crap weather out here in west Texas so I only sighted it in to about 35 yards. There a couple things to note in this first review. The left to right on the scope was perfect from the box on the first 10 shots. We were using 158 gr JSP to get a good zero before switching over to the Barnes and underwood ammo that I will be using for hunting. At this point, tradmark and myself, decided to switch to the hunting ammo. We started with the Barnes Vortex 140gr XPB at 1400 fps out of my GP100. The first 3 shots were taken by me and were 3" right of the bulls. Thinking that it might just be me because I am very novice when it comes to shooting with a scope and rest, Tradmark took 3 shots and they grouped exactly with the 3 that I had just taken. At this point we when back to the 158gr JSP and fired 12 shots to see if the optics needed to settle in. At this point we went back to the hunting ammo. The Barnes and underwood started to hit back at the bulls. We stopped at this point due to the wind and will continue to see if now that we have about 30 rounds on the scope if it starts to hold the zero and stop floating.
