I shot this buck last week with my 209x50 TC Encore using 100 grains of Triple 7 powder and a saboted 300 grain 45 caliber XTP. (I have a picture on the bragging board but can't get it to load.)
We had highs in the 80's all week, a lot hotter than I like it for deer hunting. I fought mosquitos the whole time. (The frogs and bats need to start doing their jobs!)
The deer were moving the first few hours of the morning and the last hour of the evening. I had a small buck walk out of the brush monday evening and this one came out behind him at about 6:30 at about 25 yards. He was the best one I saw all week.

Good show. Mosquitos is usually one thing we don't have to worry about up here during deer season, but it is so nice this year that I wouldn't be surprised.
