Hey guys,

I'm looking for advice from anyone that has hands on experience with the Hunter or Stock III models, as to their quality, accuracy and reliability.

I have owned the base line Witness with Wonder Finish and it was, well, basic. Nothing to wright home about. I've heard good things about the Stock III and Hunter models, that they were much better quality than the base models with much tighter slide to frame fit and better accuracy. I can't find any local dealers with them in stock, and I'm leery of ordering one on line, sight unseen.

Let me know what you think if you have any real world experience with them, and any pictures would be great.

Thanks.

I have looked at the Hunter model on line several times. Seems to be a big price delta over the standard model
If you buy one let me know how it does.

If it jams force it! If it breaks it needed replacing anyway.

Here is a link that is a little old but had some useful information;

Here's a couple pics borrowed from the web;

I think I would like to mash them both together and have the Hunter slide and barrel with the Stock III frame. Having one with the long sight radius and the ability to add a light for night hunting and camp protection.

Just my preference though.

Still looking for some hands on experience and pics from yall.

Is this a 10mm or .45 auto you want? 10mm pretty good, comparable to a heavy .357 magnum. The .45 auto, GREAT (hands down) on 2 legged critters,, not so much on 4 legged ones, if your planning to use this as a hunting tool.
The .45 auto just doesn't have the shock effect of a .44 magnum or hand loaded .45 colt.
Very pretty gun though. Like to have one myself, or a CZ. Good luck to you!

I like the 10mm, but I really like the 45 Super. I would chose one in 45acp and upgrade the springs to run 45 Super ammo like this; https://www.underwoodammo.com/45-super-255-grain-hard-cast-flat-nose/

That's a 255gr. hard cast bullet moving at almost 1100 fps.

I plan on taking a deer soon with this guy; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1iYtSIsDPdk
