Has anyone seen and decreases in accuracy when using the factory crimp dies.
I really did not notice it on the 45s but the 9mms show a marked difference.
If it jams force it! If it breaks it needed replacing anyway.

Bug,
What type of "factory" crimp die are you using? I've used both the Lee and Redding taper crimp dies, no difference between the two and no adverse accuracy effects.

Lee
It is the one that taper crimps and sizes the OD.
If it jams force it! If it breaks it needed replacing anyway.

Are you shooting cast or jacketed? I know a lot of cast shooters who won't touch a Lee FCD. I don't use them. My RCBS dies crimp just fine.
Rod, too.
Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

Cast bullets with mixed range brass.
If it jams force it! If it breaks it needed replacing anyway.

With cast you want to pull the sizing ring out of the die. It actually squeezes the bullet down some more when it takes any lumps out of the case
