I am going to start reloading with the help of a friend. He has the equipment to reload. I mainly hunt deer(going to try pigs) with my SRH .480, looking for some input from people on which bullets, types, and powder to use. I have read thru the forums and have a few ideas, but any real world experience would be great! I am comfortable shooting out to about 125 yards. but would like to increase that with more practice. Thanks!

If deer are on the menu with hogs i can think of no more effective bullet than the barnes xbp 275gr hollowpoint and some h110/w296.

I have been loading the 355, 370 and 412 cast bullets. The 370 may be the best all around cast in it. No deer hit with that load has taken a step.
