Well I finally got a rack buck with my encore pistol. Not real big but he didn't take a step.140 yards with the 7-08 Hornady Superformance 139 SST.

Congrats on your first hand gun buck! My first deer with a handgun was a four point buck and I was very happy. I passed up two more larger bucks minutes later but I was out of buck tags and was happy with what I had.
