the key to this, DB, is knowing when to start. that's the art. spelling and punctuation isn't that time on a forum. ever.

I guess if forums didn't allow bad spelling/punctuation there would be no forums.

I can't speak for the .480 Bisley but love the cartridge in my SRH. Very accurate and if you can handle a .44 magnum you shouldn't have any problem with the .480. I have shot a .475 Bisley and didn't think it had excessive recoil. Now Whit, why are you confusing the issue with facts? :-}

By the way nice kills...

Being from AR I demand only perfect English, HA

Wow, seriously thank you and Whitworth for the info. I did think the video looked a little extreme, you answered that. I did take notice the positive comments you both made about the BFR.

Oops, now I see Lipsey has a 4 5/8" Bisley, this makes the decision tougher.

Thanks Gentlemen !

The shorter barreled .480s aren't available yet. I'll get one when they actually start producing them.

Whether you do an article on the short barrel or post here I will look forward to that.
Thanks for the Hog pics, I have killed a few with a 44mag and alot more with rifles, can't kill too many !

You will not make peace with the Bluecoats, you are free to go.
