NIB Encore Frame.

Are the tooling marks normal, or something that could effect headspace?

Thanks.

Doesn't look like tooling marks to me looks like it had a barrel on it that was hitting at the top of the action I don't see anything that would concern me

I'm certainly a newb on these things and thought it looked like a barrel had been on it, but wasn't sure ... thought they might mount a barrel at the factory to check fit or something.

The marks do catch on a fingernail.

Normal...You will notice over time that a "wear mark" for a lack of a better term will start from opening and closing the barrel.
