What are your opinions on the best electric powder scale for around $200 plus.
Looking to get one seeing I can no longer look down for long periods of time due to a bad neck.

AK, I know my unit is more then $200 but my RCBS scale and powder dispenser have made reloading so much easier I could never go back to a magnetic scale or powder trickler....

Thanks James.
I will look into RCBS.
Looking to do the same as you. Make reloading and life a little easier.

I put a back on my loading bench with shelves and put my scale at eye level infront of me. A good electric one would be nice though.

I have a PACT. Don't know how much they are not, but should be reasonable. I had it for 2 years, then it survived my 99% house fire, and still working 15 more years. Something that tough can't be all bad.
I also have a Lyman Gen 3 Digital System I use for very small loads as .300 Whisper. No powder measure is good enough to throw those tiny loads consistently.

I have to keep it to the "apartment dweller" set up.......
My duty station is here so I just rent.
So shelves ,etc. are a no go for me. But with that said that is a great idea.

Ditto here. I put it on auto dispense so it drops every yime I set the pan back on it. I can seat a bullet in about the same time as it takes to be ready to do all over again.

I have a Cabelas electronic scale but really don't use it much. Sometimes I will use it to double check that my RCBS is right on.

I agree with James. Only downfall is that it's a little slower then a manual dispenser but more accurate. I have one and I love mine.

Ditto with WVhitman - I have used a PACT for ~20 years. Gets lots of use for reloading and arrow weighting. Came with a powder pan and two solid weights to set zero, 110Vac adapter. No idea what I paid for it back in the day.

Stay away from the GS-1500 scale that comes with Hornady kits. It can't hold a zero for that long, sometimes lasting only three to five measurements before the display begins reading -0.2 or -0.3 grains once you put the powder pan back on.

Hey guys - old school billa here. I load all of my hunting loads with a 40 year old Belding & Mull benchrest micrometer powder measure. It is repeatable to 0.1 grains. Better than that with fine powder. Always holds zero. Technically I like the volume based measurement. I am certainly not knocking the digital scales but it's what works best for me.
