I was riding(horse) with some friends North of home. We had two heelers and my Black Mouth Cur with us. One of the heelers had his first run in with a porcupine. Jumped off, handed the reins to my buddy and made short work of the quill pig with my Ruger Single Six. I am wishing that I kept some of the quills.

It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

Can't see the pic due to photobuckets new policies. Did you eat the porcupine? They're delicious and my favorite small game animal. Their populations are down in western Montana so I leave them alone these days.
