Hey Guys,
I decided to get a T/C Contender G2 pistol frame with grips and it's on the way to my FFL, and I've decided to go with custom barrels, so I need to find some Contender pistol sights.
Almost no options on line for replacement sights. (Plenty for the Encore though) I am waiting for a response from T/C to see if I can buy them directly.
If any one has a set or more that they would be willing to part with, please let me know and we can work something out.
Also, has anyone found a suitable fiber optic front sight for the Contender pistol barrels? I believe a sight for a Ruger Mark II/III/IV might work.
Thanks for any assistance with this.

Think I have a set if you can't find one
If it jams force it! If it breaks it needed replacing anyway.

If these guys can't hook you up, pm me, I should have some. pay attention to the barrel taper and the front and rear heights. They aren't all interchangable.
Can you get the barrel maker to set it up for some other sight bolt pattern?

Rod, too.
Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

Any recomendations for the heights on these three calibers? Thanks for checking your inventory for me as well. Just let me know what you have, and you can either PM me here or email me at BRASF0311@gmail.com. Thanks again.

Per my PM I have located ONE Front Sight, and TWO Rear Sights. I plan to get them in the mail your way tomorrow. I was sure that I had another target rear sight, but I may have already given it to someone else. I cannot locate it. That may explain where the other Front Sight went.

Thank you Bob, I appreciate it. I was looking at some of the extra Encore sights that I had in the parts bin and I noticed some had different contours to the bottom of the sights. I wonder if I got contender sights mixed in. When I get yours, I will be able to compare them, and if they match up, I will have all I need for now.
Here are the specs that T/C sent me.
22lr 9": Low rear sight, .490 front sight.
45acp 9": Low rear sight, .430 front sight
45lc 9": Low rear sight, .430 front sight

45lc 9": Low rear sight, .430 front sight If you are gonna run heavy bullets, hot, you may want a taller front.
Rod, too.

I finally located the Rear Contender Metallic Silhouette Sight and put it in the bag with the other factory sights. That should have you fixed up with Three Rear Sights, and a Single Front Sight.
NOTE: I did get it in the mail today.
If you need any Pachmayer hardware I should be able to fix you up. I have multiple super 14 barrel hangers (4-5), a couple Forends, and a Grip surplus.
I went to Tony's Forends on both of ours. Huge Improvement, and they are now Bipod Friendly.

Thanks Bod, you're awesome!
Thanks for the offer on the grips, but so far I like the factory rubber grips. I'll be able to decide better once I have a barrel in place and have a few rounds down range. If I need some though, I'll let you know.
Thanks again.
