Does anyone have any hunting performance results from this ammo (any caliber) on game animals from deer size on up?

I'm getting some in 45LC and wanted to know if they work as advertised.

Pics and videos would be great. Thanks

I used the 350 gr 500 S&W version out of my 12" plus arrestor brake SSK encore to take this feral boar. I took an uphill Texas Heart Shot on this boar. 1 shot and down and dead within about 4 - 5 yards. The straight line penetration is AS Advertised 👍🏻. The tissue damage was caliber sized, similar to a flat nosed bullet.

You're welcome. They are light and long for caliber due to the design and material, but you can push them fast.

Used on whitetail out of a 357. Had that x cut thru lungs and liver and penetrated well. I will try and get pics posted later comparing a 41 flatnose with the lehigh. Used a 45/70 lehigh on watusi, my friend did and i was there. Didnt exit, did good damage and it penetrated to offside hide. Flatpoints penetrated all the way thru.

My flatpoints when hardcast in 45 cal make essentially a golfball sized wound channel tru. When i really ramp up the monometals or punch bullets is about double that size when run at over 1600fps. When i run aframes hard im getting 4-6" wound channnels with barnes xbp's i get just devastation and the lehighs we've used were like golfball wound channels with that x cut to about 2" if that helps ya visualize what we see happening.

I would add that if your flat-nosed bullet is delivering caliber sized wound channels, your meplat is WAY too small. That is what I love about the LBT designs, they create a wound channel out of proportion to bullet diameter.

Thanks guys. So I'm gathering that they work well, but better choices are available. Full penetration is a plus to me. I like two holes for a blood trail.

The non exits ive seen with these are on big bovines and one or two three or four holes dont give a blood trail. Only blood trail ya get is from lung blood out the nose. I think more investigation is worth it. I suspect that they work and penetrate somewhere in between the flat points and the expandables and damage somewhere in between. Franchise runs em fast and u have to like the expandables. Velocity becomes your friend with the xtreme penetrators and expandables alike. If ya dont run em
Fast they dont work so well on the big animals.
