Several years ago I bought a Ruger Super Redhawk .44 mag for deer hunting. I never did much with it until I read an article last year during the deer season about handgun hunting. Since the season was slow and I had not seen much I took the handgun out the next evening. Of course a nice buck comes in chasing a doe and I miss, but I was hooked.
This year after some advise from this web site I took the gun to magnaport and had some work done to it. I practiced a lot this summer with it. Well last Saturday I hear my dad shoot with his muzzel loader, so of course I get ready. A nice 6 pointer comes trotting by at 45 yards and I double lung him. He goes 30 yard and goes down. Lucky for me my dad missed. He's a big deer with 4 points on one side and a big crab claw on the other. If I knew how to post the picture I would put it on the site. Thanks everyone who gave thier opions on my questions.
