Kyode in a Contender my testing last fall included 1680.
13" MGM Barrel 1680 Powder 180 XTP Bullets Jamerson 357 Max Brass Remington 7-1/2 BR Small Rifle Primers.
25.5 grains with the bullet seated long. 1725 fps SD 56
25.5 grains No Note on Seating Depth probably lower crimp groove 1829 fps SD 61
26.0 grains with the bullet seated long. 1763 fps SD 97
26.0 grains No Note on Seating Depth probably lower crimp groove. 1862 fps SD 40
26.5 grains with the bullets seated long. 1901 fps SD 73
I am not sure why I seated some of the bullets long a year later. Probably Case Fill. If I remember correctly 1680 with top end loads is a case full.
Normal Cautions start with Book "Contender" Data and work up slowly.

What bullet? How long are you planning on seating them? The alliant manual shows a couple contender specific loads...
28.3 max 180 xtp coal 2.025 1,884fps 39,0000 psi,
180 sspb 30 gr max 2.350 coal 1850 fps 27,500 psi,
200 FTX 30 gr max 2.5 coal 1887 fps 35,800psi

Ill try the 180gr xtp in the lower cannelure first. Who knows when that will be but im always thinkin. 😉
