Does anyone know of a mount available for a SP101 357 mag with adjustable sights. I looked around and found that maybe weigand might have a mount that will work but doesnt specifically say that it will. My lovely wife wants to start handgun hunting and she has tiny hands. she has tried all of the handguns and believes that the SP 101 fits the best for grip to trigger length and overall comfort and weight. i dont plan on loading anything up hot, just running factory rounds in it and she can comfortably shoot my my sp101 with a 2.25" bbl with full house factory loads. she would like to have a red dot or reflex sight for a positive aiming point. any help would be appreciated.

Probably the only option would be to have a gunsmith install a mounting plate or rail for something like a Fastfire III.

thanks Bob, found a company that makes a no drill mount for a burris fast fire III which is the way i was leaning based on the size of the gun and weight.

Jpoint used to make a Ruger mount for their reflex sight. It would fit any Ruger revolver that was fitted with an adjustable rear sight (note the rear sight had to be removed to fit the mount. Haven't looked lately to see if its still available or whether it actually fits the SP101.

EGW makes the mount for the Jpoint and Leupold Deltapoint. Still available on their website.

The no drill mounts for the sp101 are only compatible with adjustable sight models. I had a fastfire iii mounted on my 3 inch sp101 in .327 federal earlier this year. My gunsmith was able to mill the no drill mount to match the flat of the top of the frame, then he drilled and tapped it. This is about as low as you can mount a red dot on such a small revolver. I haven't shot it much yet but my first 6 shots out of the gun at 10 yards was about the size of a 50 cent peice. It takes some tinkering with grip and presentation to find the 3moa dot quickly, but the degree of precision that it has added to to my sp101 is pretty awesome.
