Thanks for posting Darrell! I was fortunate to take this Marco Polo ram in the Pamir Mountains of Tajikistan at 14,446 feet elevation. The H-S Precision in 270 WSM shooting Federal 130 gr. BT did the job at 135 yards. Glad to check this one off the bucket list.

How did you acclimate to the altitude? Any altitude sickness?

I was on a regime of Diamox. Stayed in camp a couple of days to get acclimated. Altitude sickness can lead to serious problems.

Are you going to put together a complete review of the hunt for us?

Mark, that is just an amazing animal, it has to weigh over 300 lbs! Congratulations on what had to be a "top" of the world hunt.

What a fantastic set of horns! Someday I would like to get a tour of your trophy room, photos are great but seeing them in real life would be impressive. Waiting for the full write up.

Mark Hampton You are the Man. No one promotes handgun hunting like you do. You have filled the shoes of JD Jones, Larry Kelley and others that have paved the way in years past. My hat is off to you, sir.
