I was stand hunting during the Illinois second gun season. Had 9 does walk by, after making sure they were not being followed, I popped the last one.
Shot was just under 50 yards, deer went less than 30. I saw a lot of bucks but nothing mature.

Good shootin', Curly

Rod, too.

Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

Very nice! That was a 12 ring for sure!

Excellent shooting. Great shot placement. That is what the liver looked like on the Doe I shot this season in PA. I was using an 201 grain .41 A-Frame. Your shot placement was much better than mine. Congrats!

Great shot, congrats. I got a little button buck during the first season with my SRH 44. What county do you hunt? Warren county for me. This past Saturday I shot a coyote at 60 yards with my Encore 50 Cal. Then missed a Doe an hour later.
