My wife Dawn shot her first handgun deer on December 18,2017. We bought her a new gun prior to season as she just decided that she wanted to hunt with a handgun. Dawn is no stranger to shooting a handgun, and has several of her own and carries on a regular basis. A 6" GP-100 in .357 mag was going to do the work for her. Topped with a Burris fast fire 3 she got several hundred .38 specials down range to practice with. she was holding 3 inch groups at 50 yards off of a bog pod. shooting Winchester factory ammo success was obtained with one shot. the hunt was from a tree stand and a big nanny doe at 12 yards was the backstop for the Winchester HP. this does, heart was no match for the HP and only went about 50 yards downhill before crashing. I am so proud of her.

Thank you guys for the atta girls, Dawn is happy with the new handgun and hopes to shoot a black bear in Minnesota next near and maybe a hog this spring if we can find some public land to hunt in AR or OK
