I'm would like to know what the experienced revolver shooters rely on (products, tools and procedures) when they clean their guns?

I like to use "Eliminator" since it does not smell so strong. I use the "Special Line" Dewey brushes from Brownells, since they fit on my "Dewey" Rod. I shoot 45 caliber mostly so I got a 50 caliber brush from Cabelas for the chamber only.
I do use Tetra for when I shoot copper jacketed bullets. And or, Butches Bore Shine, is another good one.

I have not had to do this in a long time since I have not experienced any leading. But when I did,, I used a "choreBoy" copper scour pad, cut a small piece and wrapped and old brush to scour out the lead.

I do hunt west Tx some and it gets very dusty. SO I use a small paint brush to remove dust from the gun. then clean barrel and cylinder. The I lube the ratchet and base pin on Single actions. and Lube accordingly on the others. I use "Shooters Choice" red lube in a tube.
Good quality lightweight oil where needed.
But if I am going to a range session only,, I have been known to use a small amount of "Never Seize" It will withstand heat and beatings of the Big Bores. And resist wear on slides.

Collectors is a good oil to use for long term storage. I never tried any wax such as the Renaissance Wax.

Thank you for putting in the time for a detailed answer. The oversized brush for the chamber only is something I hadn't thought of but plan on using

You'll see a thousand choices for inside maintainance. About all will work.
For the exterior, I discovered GunBrite from Issos (at Midway) years ago.
It's a paste that you apply, then wipe off. It cleans the surface and waterproofs it. My stainless guns look really clean before I treat them. When treated, the cloth is filthy. Blued guns are really impressive when treated.
I do all guns twice a year and before any hunting trips. Never had any surface problems.

I've tried many of the wonder cleaners and lubes over the years and most do well, but I decided to save some money and use WD-40 to clean and white lithium grease for lube. Both of these can be found in Walmarts automotive section for under $4 a can, and they work well too. I also use a little steel wool wrapped around the bore brush to clean the chambers. I'm all for quick and easy.

I use Hoppe's for most of my cleaning jobs.

Hoppes for solvent. The thing that helps me the most however is that I clean the cylinders in a Lyman Ultrasonic cleaner. I don't use the ultrasonic for any other parts but the cylinder come out perfect on my two FA Model 97's ( 45 colt and 357 ).

DavT, I wonder what would happen if you put the cylinder from a SRH into a vibrating shell cleaner with the medium you use for cleaning brass. I use regular medium with no polish added. Interesting idea.

You will get dust and media in places you don't want dust and media
like under the star and inside the crane. Not a good idea.

Agreed, and it might affect the finish as well. I wouldn't go there.

Rod, too.

It was just a wild thought. I certainly wouldn't want to screw things up. Mostly I use Hoppe's on my revolvers.
