Sent a PM to Ernie, my last phone died so don't have his phone# anymore.
Was out and about today and came across two XP'S both center grip, one in 7mmBR and the other in 35 Rem. Owned one in 7mmBR and loved the gun, but was young and dumb and sold it. He is asking 750.00 apiece for them. They look to be in good shape.
Good price, okay price, or not so good? I have no idea what they are going for these days.
Appreciate any help thanks Norm

Check Gunbroker for what they're SELLING for,not asking price. Advanced search will find sold ones. Not an expert but do own a couple and my opinion would be the price is a fair one.

A local shop here had $1099 on a nice factory 7br. I think that is outrageous. $750 is pretty dang high. If you are lucky, you might find one $550-$650.

I am currently having one built in 243win. A local gunsmith is doing the work. He is blueprinting the action and the whole nine yards. It will be my first. Well.....kinda lol. Ive had the donor xp close to 10 years waiting for the right time.

Holler if you need a builder man. 😉 he is professional grade.

Kentucky….no place like home.

Too high, IMO. I won't go much more than 5 bills for a factory midgrip. You don't see many at that number, but they do come up for auction now and again and I am in no rush. Might have to buy one with a scope and sell the scope to get there.

Rod, too.

Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.
