I just bought some nosler revolver sporting handgun bullets for momma's 357 mag. they show pics on the box that they start expanding at 800 fps and continue thru 1350. these are 158 gr jhp. anyone shooting these and have any info on them.

thanks

I just started shooting them recently. So far I have loaded for the .357 mag and the 44 Mag. They are very accurate for me. Using the 158 gr JHP with 16 gr/296 and a CCi mag and easily staying under 2" at 50 yds. I am shooting these out of a 6" GP100. The 44 mag likes 23 gr/IMR 4227 and CCI mag primer. Also shoots one hole groups at 25 yds. [Ruger SBHH and SRH 7 1/2" barrels] Haven't had the chance to use them on game yet though. These loads are safe in my revolvers.

good to hear, didn't figure there would be any accuracy issues, sounds like they are shooting lights out for you. however on the lower end of velocity i was concerned with expansion. this was the first i had seen them. any idea how long they have been on the market?

I think they've been out longer than the internet.

Although I have not used the handgun bullets on game yet, I have used ballistic tips in my 30-30
contender and they worked just as advertised.
