anyone got the 3" model. I am looking for a belt gun and was originally looking towards the 4.25 in 44 mag redhawk, but see that the GP =-100 comes in 44 special. short of heavby bear loads, this should handle everything that i would want from a woods bumming gun

any complaints? how heavy of loads and what kind of accuracy are you getting with it?

I like mine. Very pleasant to shoot. So far I?ve just shot mid range loads - nothing hot. I?m about to load some cast bullets and see how it does with them. I did have to send mine back to Ruger when it was new. Shot about 20 rounds and the cylinder started freely spinning. The latch didn?t hold it in place. But it?s been just fine since I got it back.
