Almost all of the venison in fancy restaurants is from red deer if that gives you any idea...the majority of venison farmers raise red deer...high volume, great taste

I have had it at a hunting preserve and it was outstanding.

Red deer is delicious, but if u can. Id try and see if they give u a deal on getting an axis doe with the hind as well. Im not sure if u have had it but it is divine! Different tastes both both some of my favorites.

Never had Stag. Fallow is wonderful.
