Max, enjoyed your review of the SRH 10mm in the new American Hunter. You give more info in just a couple of pages than most folks do in half a magazine. Now I want one of the beasts. Keep up the good work.

JMHO the Bren Ten was the true evolution of the 10mm. The ligher auto platforms are the true place for this round. I had a Delta back in the early 90s that I considered to be as close to a 357 mag as you could get in an auto. However the CZ 75 platform seems to be platform that I think is ideally suited to the 10mm. The Bern being the the flat top Ruger of the bunch.EAA now does a factory copy of the original version.
10mm in a wheel gun is like a 45 ACP in a wheel gun-- out of place.
Yea I have one but it is not what the round was designed for.
Buy a white linen sports coat and some slacks with a Glaco hi ride.
And go Crockett style!

If it jams force it! If it breaks it needed replacing anyway.

Yeah, that?s what I thought too until I started shooting it, and then I started understanding it?s charms. I don?t expect everyone to fall under its spell, but...... The .45 was never designed for big game hunting, but the 2,000 pound water buffalo I killed with one a few years back sure didn?t know it either when he bought the farm. Just sayin! Thanks, bowmag!

Im getting one. An old friend of mine used to successfully hunt deer w a sw 10mm wheelgun. I view it as a great low recoil deer hunting round. I will have jack huntington tune mine and put a red dot on it and use it as a gateway into handgun hunting for my 4 kids that havent hunted with a revolver yet.

The 10 mm is truly a interesting round. First I got a Para LS Hunter, then had David Clements convert a GP to 10.

Ya cant harm the gun loading it up, the sighting options, tamer grip mean it should be a great revolver for My son that will 10 yoa this year and we may give it a shot. After all, razor killed a cape buff with it sooo i know its good for whitetail. Matt will Prolly even take less shots than he did i hope on a whitetail.

Rod, too.
Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.
