The day for entering the drawing this year starts on June 20. You will be able to buy additional entries this time. To the best of my knowledge no one has taken a Tn wild elk with a handgun. I would love to be the first.

My Wife got an Arkansas either sex tag last year & she took a young Bull, not handgun though, 6.5 CM and a 140 Nos. Partition.

I should add if you are looking for a B&C elk it is unlikely that you will kill one in TN. The biggest one I know of scored 340. It is more about the hunt and the experience of killing a elk in one of the states that once held one of the largest population densities of elk in the country. They were killed out by market hunting.
