Looking for some advice for long term storage. Will be storage for several firearms in a gun cabinet long term in a environmentally controlled closet. I don?t have the room for these firearms to just rest on a shelf alone. They probably will be left in gun rugs stacked on a shelf. Any oil type to use or avoid? And other dos and don?t would be appreciated. I don?t want to take them out in a year and see rust or pitting.

Boeshield. I have guns stored in Louisiana, and have no rust. Also use it as a rust preventative for my dive knives in salt water.
