I recently purchased a few Hornady 308 SST 125 grain bullets. Would these bullets work at 30/30 Super 14 Contender velocity or better at 30/30 23 inch carbine velocity? I could always use them at 308 or 300 Win Mag rifle Encore velocity for varmints? Ideas? MK

They will work fine in a Super 14 for smallish or medium size game.

I use a 125 grain Nosler Ballistic Tips in my 15 inch 308 Encore on deer and hogs with great results.

Thanks for the information. I wasn't sure if they would expand at the 30/30 velocity. I used to really like the SSP's. I think that they have been discontinued. MK
