Absolutely fantastic, Mark! Looks like that 48 NCH did its job well.

Mark Hampton is the man when it comes to adventurous handgun hunting. That looks like an incredible ram from what I assume was spectacular country. CONGRATULATIONS!

Thank you all for the kind words - I'm most appreciative.

I took this ram with Nosler's new handgun in 6.5 Creedmoor using 120 gr. BT. One shot from 210 yards. The ram dropped in his tracks, stone dead, as if he'd been stuck by lightning. Some days you get lucky.

Marvelous Ram! Congrats on another hard earned handgun trophy, Mark!

Mark, is that a handgun or rifle scope you're using on the M48?

Yes ,but a whole lot of preparation and work is what allows you to make the most of that luck.
Well done Mark!

KRal I am sure it is a rifle scope. Mark has been shooting it at the Range quite a bit, and it has had a rifle scope every visit. His M48 is one tack driving handgun. Mark will need to fill in more details on the magnification range of the scope, and what power he had it set on hunting when he gets time.

Thanks, Bob. I figured it was, but couldn't really tell from the picture.
