Normally my thoughts on handgun hunting center around big bores. Recent posts on the .327 Mag have got me thinking about medium calibers for light to medium game. The upshot is the proposition that a medium diameter projectile of 80 - 130 grains traveling at around 1400 - 1800 fps is not only flat shooting but does very nicely on appropriate sized game.
Given I'm primarily a semi-auto shooter, my thoughts then turned to the idea of 9x25mm Dillon in a Glock G40 MOS. Projectile weight and velocities around the same. Should do just as well.
The question is, does anyone have actual experience using this round?
