I have time off for the week of Thanksgiving so the plan is to go on a trip for myself. I hate to say it but it has been a few years since I shot a deer. Just crap luck and a downturn in my local area for hunting. ( Massachusetts and Connecticut)

So the plan is to go somewhere for that week in the hopes of putting venison in the freezer.

I know I have asked such things in the past but I am asking for any suggestions or advice for a place to go. Ideally , no more than a two day drive from New England.

Thanks

I'm new here and all. Thanksgiving week has been my most successful time in NH. I typically hunt every day of the firearm season(~36 days), and the 3 month archery season. I know it didn't really answer your question, but NH offers some ok hunting around that time.
