My (.308 Bore) 7.62 x 54R Encore barrel arrived from MGM.
It is gone again, having my 4 Gill Muzzle Break installed.

My Bullberry Scope Base, and Hanger Bars have been delivered and are ready to install when the barrel comes back from the gunsmith.

I may get a chance to load some ammo tomorrow, with some luck. I have 125 and 150 Nosler BT's on hand as well as some 125 Sierra's. That should cover my bullet testing pretty well. For being retired I sure am busy.

I received my MGM barrel back in the early Spring for my Encore and I am very happy with my purchase. I had a 14" 445 Super Mag barrel made and it is a shooter! I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 750 to 1000 rounds down the pipe and I must say, it is one of the easiest barrels I have to clean up and I primarily shoot cast bullets. During my load development stage I shot all sorts of powder through it finally settling on IMR 4227 which is not the very cleanest burning powder, but still getting a final patch to run bright white is quick. Good luck with your new barrel, I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Bob, I'm using a 125 grain NBT in my 15 inch 308 Encore using load data from KRal. I've shot deer and hogs with these and they work great.
