IN THE "BE CAREFUL" TOPIC, OFFSHORE REPORTED ON SOME TESTING WITH ACCURATE's FAIRLY NEW (AND UNKNOWN) AAC-11FS POWDER, WHICH HAS APPLICATIONS FOR MANY OF OUR REVOLVERS. I CHECKED LOADDATA.COM UNDER AAC-11FS AND FOUND NO DATA. I CHECKED ACCURATE's WEBSITE AND BINGO, THERE WAS A LOT OF DATA FOR 11FS. DOES A 1,5XX fps, 255gr, 30,000 PSI, 45 COLT LOAD OUT OF A 7 1/2 INCH BARREL INTEREST YOU? THERE IS DATA FOR A LOT MORE CALIBERS IN THERE ALSO. YOU NEED TO CHECK IT OUT.

I looked into this and noticed that the data for the 45 Colt... Was only Cast bullets. I called and ask if they had tested any jacketed bullets. The answer was "NO we did not". But you can use the same Data I was told. I replied back that with jacketed bullets there will be more pressure than with Cast. The tech told me with this powder that it would not be enough to make any difference. Scary huh?
I say drop down 10% on that data before experimenting with some Jacketed bullets.
In spite of my being cynical, I would still be willing to try this powder.

NO ACCURATE 11FS ON GUNBROKER, WENT TO A GUN SHOW, A BASS PRO AND A LGS AND NONE OF THEM HAD IT. I WOULD JUST LIKE TO BUY 1 lb. WILL CHECK ANOTHER LGS UP IN UVALDE, TEXAS, AND IF THEY DON'T HAVE ANY I MAY BUY MORE THAN 1 lb SO I CAN JUSTIFY THE HAZ MAT CHARGE.

The folks that like H110/W296 will really like this powder, especially the wheel gun crowd. I've played with it in 44 Mag, 445 SM and 45 LC with good success. I just placed a Powder Valley order the other night, so the Brown Santa Clause will be coming to see me soon with more No.11FS, IMR 4227, RL 23 and 3000 primers!

If it's new, it may take a while for it to hit the shelves. I'll definitely be interested in hearing how well it performs.
