Hello All,

I would like to publicly thank JRH for doing a fine trigger job on a Redhawk for me. It is every bit as good as he said it would be and did it in the timeframe he quoted. A friend and long time shooting buddy invited me for Thanksgiving dinner. We took this opportunity to compare Redhawks and critique the triggers. We used a brand new box stock Redhawk as a benchmark.
We each have Redhawks with trigger work done by big name gunsmiths of days gone by. Both were decent and quite an improvement over a stock Redhawk. The JRH gun clearly was the winner. Single action broke like glass. Double action was smooth all the way through. The hump was gone. All this was accomplished by changes in geometry and reduction of drag WITHOUT lightening of the spring. Thank you and Congratulations to Jack Huntington! Sorry for the typo. Must have been What was on my mind since rifle/handgun deer season starts the Saturday after Thanksgiving here. Now it is fixed

I am impressed with His trigger work on the SRH. I also am NOT surprised with his ability and talent on a RH.

The Super RedHawk is much easier to get a Great Trigger on. The RedHawk is much more difficult. Glad to see you have a great trigger job on yours.

I agree and have shot different examples but each one had been massaged by a different Smith. I would like to try one of Jacks examples.
