Plan on buying one for my Christmas present any pro's and con's on scope mounting because of ports in barrel.I have an ultra dot on my lite Hunter just looking at more precision with with a 2 or 4 power scope

l have a 2x EER Leupold on my SW Light Hunter. A 4x EER Lupold

on BAMBAM, My 460 SW PC. I have gotten a bit of powder residue on

the 460 and the Lite Hunter.. However, this is only AFTER an

extended range session or an IHMSA silhouette match..

My humble opinion. 2X EER Leupold is the best handgun scope made.. period

I have to agree with sw282 , Leupold 2X Handgun scope is all you need on a .44 revolver. Great field of view at closer ranges. The 4X Leupold is nice but very small field of view compared to the 2X.

Just wondering. Are you guys talking about a 20mm 2x scope? I dont see a leupold 2x in a 30mm tube.

I'm talking about the 1 inch tube with the Duplex reticle. Leupold very stupidly recently discontinued this model so if you want one search now.

Guess I better buy a scope before the gun
