I have a G1 frame and a 12 inch SSK blued barrel in .375JDJ and want to get it hydro dipped in King?s Desert camouflage. Has anyone hydro dipped their Contenders? Can anyone recommend someone to do the work? Did you do the rings? Scope?
Post pictures of your hydro dipped contenders if have them!

I did a stock. I think you would be better served with a good gun coating. Like Ceracoate or Duracote.
If it jams force it! If it breaks it needed replacing anyway.

I second what Ernie said. I've seen quite a few good photos of Derek's work and he is a great guy and fellow handgun shooter/hunter.

Derek did my XP100. Great guy. Met him at Ernie's shoot, and still talk with him quite often. He also does cerakote. Did the barrel and action on this XP100, and dipped a Yeti mug for me also. After the camo hydro dip, he did a layer of clear cerakote to protect the hydro dip. I have used this XP MANY times since getting it back, and it still looks brand new. No scratches or chipping at all. Can't say enough good stuff about Derek, or his work. Top notch guy all the way around.

Here are a couple of my guns that I dipped. The patterns are endless and they really stand out from the crowd. After the prep and under coat. The project is dipped, rinsed and left to dry. I finish all of my guns with a cerakote clear top coat. Thanks for posting the pic of your .284 Paul. Still one of my favorites! Derek >>>------->
