Just a curious question nice to have the option to shoot multiple calibers or better to have only one caliber to focase on such as 41 mag or 480? What do you guys prefer

Variety is the spice of life. I like working with several calibers.

TODAY, AT 75, AND WITH A 50 OR SO YEARS OF GUN ACCUMULATING, I PREFER 1 CALIBER PER REVOLVER/1 CALIBER PER CYLINDER. WERE I YOUNGER, AND HAD LESS OPTIONS IN THE GUN SAFE, MY PREFERENCE MAY BE DIFFERENT.

"ADAPT OR DIE". I USE ALL CAPS, NOT BECAUSE I AM YELLING, BUT BECAUSE IT IS AN OLD HABIT FROM MY ARMY DAYS, PLUS IT IS EASIER TO TYPE AND READ.

As a long time accumulator, I have a variety of caliber at hand and load for all except the rimfires. Truthfully, tho, I mainly carry and shoot the .45's.

It's not the gun, but the man behind it.

You ask about multi caliber revolver, correct?

a 41 or 44mag gives you the 41 or 44Spl. In the 480 you would have to go with the 475 in order to shoot the 480 also.
Can't go reverse.

How about a single revolver that can be a do it all?

The 454 is a very good choice since you can also shoot 45 Colt and even if you never reload you can find some very good choices in Factory Fodder. A BFR is a very good choice for the Money.
The BFR in the 460 is a choice that would be very hard to beat, given velocities and bullet choices. Plus you can also shoot 454 and 45 Colt from it.
Both submissions should have the Bisley grip.

Something like the revolver from JANZ-Pr?zisionstechnik GmbH:

Revolver JTL-S with Quick - Change - System
.22 lr ? .357 MAG ? .44 MAG ? .454 Casull

Only 1 basic frame required because of quick change system
(barrel and cylinder in a few seconds) Despite its change of function, all settings will remain the same
sighting-in target, trigger and so on. Convert to all current calibres

ps I can't afford one and have never seen one in the flesh.

Sounds like a revolver with a split personality. LOL
My 460 S&W is my multi-caliber revolver. I will get the cylinder sent to TKCustom.com and have it made to handle moon clips. It does not keep me from continuing to single load cartridges or to use a Speed Loader for whatever cartridge I am wanting to use. It just opens up using semi-rimmed cartridges of 45 caliber.

How sweet would it be though to have one revolver with every caliber you could ever want! That would solve the 41 mag problem for me. Only reason I don't have one yet.although I do want one eventually to fill the historical magnum gap I have.

The 460 S&W is not a multi caliber revolver, it can be a multi cartridge revolver as you suggested.

My revolver and the German revolver so far are the only multi caliber revolvers posted.

My apologies jwp 475 seems I meant to word it cartridge not caliber to begin with. I really like the looks of your revolver though. Didn't know you could have that done . Dang the possibilities lol !

In Hunting Caliber Revolvers the 480 SRH has been my go to handgun for several years now.

I have revolvers in 22LR, 38 Special, 357 magnum, 40 S&W/10mm, and 45acp/460 Rolland.
