I am sorta patiently waiting to get my new 356 Winchester Encore running. MGM has completed my barrel build. I have my Bullberry Hanger Bar for the forend on hand. My new Weaver 2.5-10 Extreme Classic Scope, Evolution Gun Works Scope Base, and Anti Cant Device are on the dining room table.
What I am waiting on is the "Hunts Long Range" Four Gill Muzzle Brake. It will be threaded 3/4 - 24 for the 1" Barrel of the Encore. Ryan has someone off site doing most of the work on the muzzle brakes for him. Just my luck he has out of stock on the one that I needed. I am now waiting for the next batch of Brakes to be delivered to the shop. I dropped by the shop last Tuesday knowing it would be in. I was mistaken, Ryan is still waiting on this batch of muzzle brakes to be delivered.
I am off work until Wednesday, and the wife is at horse camp slowing down my ongoing list of honey-do projects until she gets back. I may load some ammo for it.

BOB: SEND THE MRS. SOME XTRA MONEY SO SHE CAN STAY AT HORSE CAMP LONGER. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR USUAL DETAILED REPORTS ON YOUR 356 LOADINGS. IS THE 2.5 - 10 WEAVER A PISTOL SCOPE? HAVE YOU CONSIDERED 180gr SWIFT AFRAMES?

"ADAPT OR DIE". I USE ALL CAPS, NOT BECAUSE I AM YELLING, BUT BECAUSE IT IS AN OLD HABIT FROM MY ARMY DAYS, PLUS IT IS EASIER TO TYPE AND READ.

I loved mine it was just a 14" heavy taper MGM SS.

I ran a 2-7 Burris on mine.
Shot 180 Hornady SSPBs and 180 Speer Hot cores over H4895.

Shot lots of stuff with that gun.

Traded it for a XP several years back.

If it jams force it! If it breaks it needed replacing anyway.
