I took four pounds of Tannerite and four pounds of Sonic Boom to the hunting lease today. All were mixed according to the instructions and shot with a caliber that exceeded the recommendations.
Tannerite: all four pounds detonated with substantial report.
Sonic Boom: two pounds failed to detonate at all while the remaining two pounds were noticeably less explosive than Tannerite.

I?ve contacted Sonic boom and I?m curious to see what their response will be. A look at their social media page shows many similar experiences. Aside from the fail to detonate, the degree of explosion is less important, I suppose.

Update: Sonic Boom was very fast to contact me about the failure to detonate. In short, they asked for my shipping address and I have two pounds coming to my door.

This seems to be a common issue with the product according to their social media page but their customer service is impeccable.

They made good. Four 1 pound canisters arrived via FedEx today. Twice what I?d expected. Customer service goes a long way.
