Squirrel season opened this morning. This year, I challenged myself to take the scope off my MK II and practice with open sights. Despite the wind gusting pretty hard, I managed to call this gray squirrel in using the tried and true 50 cent squirrel call.

Nice work! I used to be able to do it with open sights but not anymore.

Well done! Great practice for bigger game.

It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

Nice going Chance. I love squirrel hunting with a 22. I have taken quite a few with my S&W mod 17s. Great training for bigger game.
