Galco Kodak Hunter for Ruger Blackhawk/Super Blackhawk. Tradmark turned me on to those and they are great.

The problem for me is they don't make a LH version.

98Redline, I don?t expect you to have much luck, but, you could contact them and make your request. All they can say is ?no?! Good Luck, memtb

The Kodiak hunter has been in their lineup for at least 10 years. I know that because I looked at them when I first bought my SuperBlackhawk hunter. If they have not made a LH version by now, they are not going to.

Another great holster for a big scoped handgun is the Ringler Custom Leather Wyoming Combo Holster. This is ultimately what I ended up buying and it has been a great holster. Comfortable, wearable with a pack, secure, and carries my 7 1/2" SBHH with MatchDot very well.

Whit turned me onto the Galco Kodiak Hunter and i love it. The quality is amazing and i love the fact that i can grab my 7.5" scoped SBH Hunter, my 8&3/8" mod 29 with ultradot, or my 7.5" 480 Super Redhawk with ultradot and the one holster does the job with them all.
Only negative is the noisy snap on the restraining strap.

They do make a left handed version on special order and an extra cost. I bought one for my Smith 629, 8 3/8"bbl topped with an Utra Dot. Nice rig!

Check out Pistol Packaging's Bandito rig. Pretty comfortable and can be made to fit a number of guns, scoped or otherwise.

I purchased this ambi holster off amazon a few years ago for use with my scoped 7.5 inch BFR's. Simple and works for me.

For my none scoped Ruger SBH 7.5 inch I use the Guides Choice from Diamond D Leather, mine is left hand. Very nice rig!
